Yet another book that I had to add to my review list. If you have some little tikes in your life this book is a must. I got this book free for an honest review but I will be buying a hard copy for my granddaughter for her birthday.

Description: Anky, the ankylosaurus, has one very special gift, but that gift also makes him very nervous and unsure of himself. Charged with having to return an egg home safely to his sister, Pooka, a lone purple tear escapes his dinosaur eye and he catches a glimpse of the future in it.

That little flash, he calls a Daydream and he uses them to help when he and his friends go on adventures together. They can avoid predators and wild rivers, but the one thing they can't avoid is worrying his parents, if Anky doesn't get that egg home in time.

Anky will have to build up his confidence and use his special gift to accomplish his mission or risk being in a whole lot of trouble at home.

This novel is rated as Ace Detective – meaning it is a must read and needs to be added to your library.

The ingredients:  a dash of adventure, 2 friends, a loving family, a touch of fantasy, and oh yeah a heaping dalop of dinosaurs. Mix these all together and you get
Anky The Daydreaming Dinosaur: The Lost Egg, a well illustrated and written children's book. The book is just the right length for your little tikes, especially the beginning reader and also for those who still love for us, the parents, to give them that nightly adventure that I received when I was a child. I believe this series will go far and I see a couple of spin-offs with ShiShi and Dippy the friends Anky made on his first adventure. Ashleigh Hanley is a very talented author, and that little flash I just had says that we will be seeing more of his adventures on children's bookshelves, kindles and smartphones all over the world.
